Good Sunday everyone 🙂 Yesterday I have been so busy that I did not find the time to sit at my craft table, so this morning as I woke up early, I have caught up a bit.

I had some remaining mats of the past days that I wanted to reuse absolutely. I did not manage to use everything, but a bit 🙂 Here the results 😀

Congratulations Card :

Nothing really spectacular for this one, but I wanted absolutely to use this embossing folder to enhance a white piece of card without too much embellishments and I guess it worked well.

I have only highlighted the card with a piece of pink ribbon and a matching brad. The sentiment has been die cut three times and the three layers have been glued together then heat embossed with a silver powder.

Again, nothing really complicated but i think it gives a little extra to a very simple card.FullSizeRender2

Hello Card:

Here I have wanted to put forward the chic side of the card through intricate cuts and delicate embossing, without too much bright colors but the eternal classic creme and silver.

The base card is a piece of rose pearl card which I have cut in a A4 layout, folded in two and trimmed the excess to make it a square card.

I have matted and layered the inside and the outside out of two other piece of cards. A silver one, which was already embossed when I bought it, and a creme pearl one, that I embossed myself with an embossing folder from the Elegant Occasions collection, free gift of the Simply Cards and Papercrafts Magazine #161.

I originally wanted to use the matching stamp in the center of the embossed piece, but it was not fitting what I had in mind, so I decided to create instead a pad for my sentiment, die cut from the Spellbinder Paper Arts Nestabilities Majestic Labels Eight series.

The sentiment has been die cut in the same silver card that I used for the lining.

Flowers are as always from Wild Orchid Crafts . As you can see in the last picture, the card being folded on the top, can stand on its own 😉

I hope you like it, see you tomorrow !
